SERVICE THAT FITS YOUR SITUATION

Security starts with a door that works.

A lock should turn smoothly and a door should close without a struggle. If you have to lift the handle, pull the door or repeatedly jiggle the key, replacing the cylinder alone may not solve the problem. We consider the lock, latch and door alignment together, then explain the work suited to your existing entrance. Moving in or changing who has keys? Discuss your access needs before choosing new hardware.

Home Lockout Assistance

Whether the key is inside, missing or no longer turns, tell us what happened and which entrance is affected. Entry methods depend on the door and lock. Have identification or evidence that you are authorized to enter available for the visit.

Lock Repair & Replacement

Loose handles, sticking deadbolts and damaged cylinders deserve attention before access becomes unreliable. We assess the existing fittings and discuss repair or replacement. When replacement is needed, door preparation and dimensions determine what will fit.

High-Security & Mortise Locks

Gate & Entrance Locks

Outdoor gates face weather, movement and repeated use. A gate that will not latch may have an alignment issue as well as a hardware problem. We review the existing mounting and discuss a lock suited to the entrance.

House Key Copies

Bring a working key for duplication where possible. A badly worn or bent original can make copying less reliable, so mention any difficulty using it. Restricted keys may require an authorized source or additional documentation.

PLAN YOUR SERVICE

A new home deserves an access review.

Before changing locks, take stock of every entrance and who holds keys. Show us the existing hardware and explain whether you want to address a fault or change access. Tenants should coordinate changes with the property owner or building management; shared entrances may have their own key requirements. We can help you distinguish a hardware replacement from a simpler access change where the existing system supports it.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

What affects your estimate?

The type and condition of the lock, door alignment, replacement hardware and the extent of installation work affect the estimate. A cylinder issue is different from a damaged mortise body or a door that no longer closes correctly. Describe the symptoms and share hardware details so we can discuss the likely scope.

USEFUL ANSWERS

Common questions

Do I have to replace the entire lock?

Not always. The fault may involve a cylinder, latch, strike or door alignment. The existing hardware needs to be assessed before deciding which components to repair or replace.

Can you work on an apartment door?

We service residential door hardware, subject to compatibility and authorization. Tell us about the building and existing lock, and check any building requirements before arranging changes.

Should I buy the replacement lock first?

It is better to confirm fit before buying. Door thickness, backset, existing holes and lock construction can limit which hardware is suitable.

What should I do if a key breaks in the lock?

Avoid forcing another key into the cylinder. Tell us whether part of the key remains inside and whether the door is open or locked, so we can discuss the service needed.
